PREMIERE PAROLE DE LA CROIX PAR PASTEUR MARC E SIMEON

(Père, pardonne-leur, car ils ne savent ce qu’ils ne savent ce qu’ils font)

Lu 23:34 Jésus dit: Père, pardonne-leur, car ils ne savent ce qu’ils font. Ils se partagèrent ses vêtements, en tirant au sort.

Au cours de sa courte existence sur terre Jésus enseignait le pardon.

Sa vie entière et sa mission sur terre était un emblème de pardon et de réconciliation.

Le pardon n’est pas toujours facile à pratiquer quand on est la victime.

Apres être battu, martyrisé, faussement accusé, et condamné sans un vrai jugement, le pardon serait très éloigné dans la pensée de la majorité.

Apres être rendu le mal pour le bien, renié par ses proches, expérimenter l’hypocrisie religieuse dans la forme la plus grotesque, le pardon ne monte plus à la pensée.

Un cri de justice, d’odieux, de crise et de vengeance semble bien à sa place.

Le Christ au cœur même de son agonie se trouve en train d’implorer le pardon de Dieu à l’ endroit de ses agresseurs.

Ces bourreaux qui le giflaient et le moquaient en même temps méritaient légitimement le jugement de Dieu.

Jésus prit pitié pour des ces gens qui lui faisaient vivre l’enfer sur terre.

Père Pardonne-leur exclama Jésus, car ils ne savent pas ce qu’ils font.

Père pardonne-leur parce qu’ils sont ivres sous l’influence du malin.

Père pardonne-leur ; c’est pour eux aussi que je suis venu sur cette terre.

Père retiens ta colère ; retiens ton jugement ; retourne ton épée à sa place, car ils ne savent pas ce qu’ils font.

Demandons à Dieu le cœur de Jésus afin de pouvoir libérer promptement, instantanément, et complètement tous ceux qui nous offensent.

Of Jesus on the cross

The second and the third word

• The second word of Jesus on the cross
• Reading: Luke 23:43 And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.
• Luc 23 : 43 Jésus lui répondit: Je te le dis en vérité, aujourd’hui tu seras avec moi dans le paradis.
• Introduction
• In the second word of Jesus on the cross, I want to emphasize two very important words:
• 1. Repentance

2. Faith

• According to the Bible, to repent means to “change your mind. »
• The Bible also tells us that true repentance will result in behavior change.
• On the cross, Jesus was in the middle of two malefactors (Luke 23 : 32, 33 ; 39-43).
• Luke 23:32 And two others, two criminals, were led with Him to be put to death.
• 33 And when they came to the place which is called Calvary, they crucified Him and the criminals there, one on the right, and one on the left.
• 39 And one of the hanged criminals blasphemed Him, saying, If you are Christ, save Yourself and us.
•  40 But answering, the other rebuked him, saying, Do you not fear God, since you are in the same condemnation.
•  41 And we indeed justly so, for we receive the due reward of our deeds, but this Man has done nothing amiss.
•  42 And he said to Jesus, Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.
•  43 And Jesus said to him, Truly I say to you, Today you shall be with Me in Paradise.
• In the statements of these two criminals, one can tell the difference between a repentant person and an unrepentant one.
• The first malefactor speaks arrogantly and mocks Jesus. He acts this way, because he does not choose to repent.
• But the second wrongdoer acts in a different way. He becomes aware of his actions and he repents.
• Not only does he become aware of his actions, he also corrects the unrepentant criminal by saying: you must stop making fun of this man because he is innocent.
• Finally, the repentant criminal made a request with faith in Jesus. And Christ answers him immediately: “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23: 43).
• We can receive great things from God, but we must approach Him with a true faith and a repentant heart.

• The third word of Jesus on the cross
• Reading: John 19: 26, 27
• John 19:26 Then when Jesus saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said    to His mother, Woman, behold your son!
• 27 Then He said to the disciple, Behold your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her into his own home.
• Jean 19:26 Jésus, voyant sa mère, et auprès d’elle le disciple qu’il aimait, dit à sa mère: Femme, voilà ton fils.
• 27 Puis il dit au disciple: Voilà ta mère. Et, dès ce moment, le disciple la prit chez lui.
• Introduction
• In His third word on the cross, Jesus gave two very important examples:
• 1. An example about his earthly family
• 2. An example about His spiritual family
• Mary carried Jesus in her womb and gave birth to him in the same way as all mothers. The difference is that Mary was pregnant by the operation of the Holy Spirit.

An example about his earthly family

• On the cross, Jesus saw Mary’s pain as a mother. He directed Mary to someone who could help her in her pain.
• How many young men and women who are unaware of the suffering of their parents for them.
• Despite his own suffering, the Lord had tender consideration for Mary.
• Note: Does this show a lack of respect, when Jesus called Mary “woman”?
• No, Jesus was not showing a lack of respect to Mary.
• Despite the way Jesus came to earth, the high priests spat in his face, they abused him on the cross.
• He accepted all these things to save us. But, do not forget that, it is God who speaks with Mary. He has authority over all human beings.
• Jesus did not call Mary “mother,” which has a lesson for those who intend to glorify Mary instead of worshiping God.

An example about his spiritual family

• On the cross, Jesus inaugurated a new family. Let’s look at this question together: Why did Jesus not entrust Mary to one of his brothers? After the birth of Jesus, Mary gave birth to other children.
• The answer to this question is that in the beginning the other children of Mary did not believe in Jesus (John 7:2-5).
• John 7:2 And the Jewish Feast of Tabernacles was near.
• 3 Therefore His brothers said to Him, Move away from here and go into Judea, so that Your disciples also may see the works that You do.
• 4 For no one does anything in secret, while he himself seeks to be in public. If you do these things, reveal yourself to the world.
• 5 For His brothers did not believe in Him.
• Jesus entrusted Mary to John, a child in faith.
• Here is Jesus’ statement when his parents sent to call him into the temple (Mark 3: 31-35) :
• Mark 3:31 Then His brothers and His mother came. And standing outside, they sent to Him, calling Him.
• 32 And the crowd sat about Him, and they said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking for You.
• 33 And He answered them, saying, Who is My mother, or My brothers?
• 34 And He looked around on those who sat about Him, and said, Behold My mother and My brothers!
• 35 For whoever does the will of God, the same is My brother and My sister and My mother.
• In Jesus’ third word on the cross, he teaches Christians about the importance of the spiritual family.
• Regardless of our nationality and color, our faith in Jesus enables us to become members of one family.
• Finally, are our brothers and sisters in the faith important to us?
• Sometimes problems arise that we cannot tell to our biological brothers and sisters, but we can tell them to our brothers and sisters in faith in Jesus-Christ.

MON DIEU, MON DIEU, POURQUOI M’AS-TU ABANDONNNE MAT 27 :46

Mt 27:46 Et vers la neuvième heure, Jésus s’écria d’une voix forte: Éli, Éli, lama sabachthani? c’est-à-dire: Mon Dieu, mon Dieu, pourquoi m’as-tu abandonné?

 47 Quelques-uns de ceux qui étaient là, l’ayant entendu, dirent: Il appelle Élie.

• A Gethsémani, l’âme angoissante, Jésus demanda au Père si c’était possible de lui épargner de l’atrocité de la croix.
• Le silence du Père résonnait à vive voix que ce n’était pas possible.
• Toute de suite après, Jésus soumis sa volonté entière à celle du Père.
• Cela étonna Jésus à se sentir abandonné du Père à l’heure la plus cruciale de sa vie.
• La volonte du Père amena Jésus jusqu’au calvaire, puis la ligne de communication entre Lui et le Père devint désactivée.
• L’exclamation de Jésus dans la deuxième parole de la croix fait ressentir comme si quelque chose s’est arrivée qui ne faisait pas partit du plan initial.
• Comment se peut-il arriver que le père abandonnât son Fils Bien Aime à la croix ?
• La  tristesse, le chagrin, la confusion, la souffrance, la faiblesse humaine étaient sujets du cri d’abandon de Jésus.
•  Au moment où le péché de l’humanité fut transféré sur Jésus, il devint l’agneau sacrificiel du monde.
• La colère de la justice de Dieu alla devoir fondre sur le Christ.
• Bien que la victime ne fût autre que son Fils Bien Aimé en qui Il mit toute son affection, Le Dieu saint ne pouvait pour l’instant toucher son fils qui était devenu une malédiction.
• L’abandon du Père était à mon issu et à ton issu.
• Joh 3:14 Et comme Moïse éleva le serpent dans le désert, il faut de même que le Fils de l’homme soit élevé,
•  15 afin que quiconque croit en lui ait la vie éternelle.
•  16 Car Dieu a tant aimé le monde qu’il a donné son Fils unique, afin que quiconque croit en lui ne périsse point, mais qu’il ait la vie éternelle.
• Gloire soit rendue à Dieu que le moment de l’abandon était bref.
• Maintenant Le Fils est à la droite du Père intercédant pour ses rachetés.
• Merci encore Seigneur pour le sacrifice de la croix !

5EME PAROLE DE LA CROIX JEAN 19 :28  « J’AI SOIF »

• Celui qui a créé le corps humain  avec ses 10 systèmes connait l’importance de l’eau.
• Le système squelettique, Le système musculaire, Le système circulatoire, Le système nerveux, Le système respiratoire, Le système digestif, Le système urinaire, Le système reproducteur, et j’en passe.

L’eau est indispensable au fonctionnement du corps

J’AI SOIF 5EME PAROLE DE JESUS SUR LA CROIX

• Les paroles de Jésus sur la croix ont toutes des importances particulières
• Celle que nous considérons à présent « J’ai Soif » est prononcée à deux volets.

Premièrement pour accomplir la prophétie du Psaume 69

 Ps 69 :21  Ils mettent du fiel dans ma nourriture, Et, pour apaiser ma soif, ils m’abreuvent de vinaigre.

Jean 19 :28-29

28 Après cela, Jésus, qui savait que tout était déjà consommé, dit, afin que l’Écriture fût accomplie : J’ai soif.

29 Il y avait là un vase plein de vinaigre. Les soldats en remplirent une éponge, et, l’ayant fixée à une branche d’hysope, ils l’approchèrent de sa bouche.

• C’est dire que l’atrocité de la Croix était déjà peinte dès les temps anciens, avant même la fondation du monde.
  • Deuxièmement la soif de Jésus sur la croix exhibait à vive voix l’humanité de Jésus.

La soif de Jésus était de causes naturelles.

• L’épuisement de sueur mêlée de sang dans le jardin de Gethsémani avant son arrestation contribuait largement  à sa grande soif sur la croix.
• Plus de douze heures de temps sans eau depuis son arrestation à la croix explique sa soif
• La verge de Pilate par les bourreaux Romains où les fouets lui blaisèrent la peau épuisait sans doute sa réserve d’eau dans son corps.
• La croix pesante vers Golgotha lui couta encore plus de perte d’eau dans son corps.
• Ses mains trouées et ses pieds percés où tout le poids de son corps  reposait sur les clous faisaient bas plein à sa faible réserve d’eau.
• Etant le Créateur du corps humain Jésus touchait le point ultime de détresse où son corps lamentait pour de l’eau.
• Au point culminant de sa souffrance, son âme si prête à l’expiation, même la dernière demande du condamné n’était pas agréée. Au lieu de l’eau, on lui donna du vinaigre.
• Si l’ironie et la moquerie n’étaient pas à la base de l’offre du vinaigre, donc c’en était le plan ingénieux du malin pour dévier Jésus à boire à totalité la coupe de la souffrance imposée par le Père.

Isa 53 :4-5 ¶ Cependant, ce sont nos souffrances qu’il a portées, C’est de nos douleurs qu’il s’est chargé ; Et nous l’avons considéré comme puni, Frappé de Dieu, et humilié.

• 5 Mais il était blessé pour nos péchés, Brisé pour nos iniquités ; Le châtiment qui nous donne la paix est tombé sur lui, Et c’est par ses meurtrissures que nous sommes guéris.

JESUS A ENCORE SOIF AUJOURD’HUI, QUE LUI OFFRONS-NOUS ?

• Il a soif que nous lui amenions des âmes perdues
• Il a soif d’une intimité beaucoup plus étroite avec chacun de nous ?
• Il a soif de se joindre à son épouse qui est l’Eglise.
• Il a soif de notre consécration
• Il a soif de notre temps, nos talents, de notre être tout entier.
• Lui offrons-nous ce que nous jugeons bon (du vinaigre mélangé), ou ce qu’Il aspire ?
• Réfléchissons là-dessus !
• AMEN !

The sixth Word of Jesus on the Cross

IT IS FINISHED

• The sixth sentence of Jesus on the Cross on that most horrific day in human history, says: “It is finished” is very heavy.
• The very Greek word that Jesus used was (tetelestai)
• Tetelestai is used in the context of a business transaction coming to completion, meaning: (paid in full) reaching the end of a deal.
• It is the term you would have used if you had put something in layaway and on one faithful day, you gather all your funds, and hand over the last payment. You would have exclaimed it is finished; it is over, I am done.

• When Jesus proclaimed Tetelestai on the Cross, it only meant that the biggest bulk of the mission was over.

• Death was minutes or seconds away.
• All the prophecies concerning him were fulfilled to the minutest detail.
• He exclaimed “it is finished” because the test was over.
• He survived the mental anguish of Gethsemane.
• He survived the false accusations.
• He survived the beatings.
• He survived the alienation of His Disciples
• He survived the betrayal of Peter His most trusted disciple.
• He survived the loud silence of God.
• He survived the trip to Golgotha, although He was too weak to carry His cross.
• He survived the nails that were pierced in His feet and Hands.
• He survived the mockery of the crowd.
• He survived the brutality of the Roman soldiers.
• He survived the Hypocrisy of Pilate.
• He survived the tyranny of Herod
• He survived the profound hate of the religious rulers,
  • All without committing one sin
  • All without abandoning the mission
  • All without failing one assignment
  • All without accepting any shortcut
  • All without grief or remorse or regret
  • All without losing his sanity
  • All without wavering His love and allegiance to the Father
  • All without losing sight of the big prize
  • All without a change of His loving, and caring, and forgiving attitude.

IT IS FINISHED

• Jesus’ continued obedience to His Father was the final and most fatal blow to the enemy.
• From the stable to the cross, Satan had failed over and over to veer or alternate the plan of salvation.
• The Champ is the last round, and the opponent has run out of option.
• Jesus was already gazing at the finished line.
• The clock was approaching to zero.
• The final whistle was about to be blown
• The king was about to be ushered back to His kingdom
• This new dominion was about to be added to His fortune.
• Tetelestai, tetelestai, it is finished.
•  
• Jesus was unable to do any outward celebration because he was too weak to do so.
• Jesus could not run up and down the field because his hands and feet were welded to that tree.
• You would not see the smile because his face was covered with blood.
• He could only gather all of His strength to exclaim “tetelestai, tetelestai, It is finished.
• Long-live the Champ. Long-live the King of king for His ultimate victory at Calvary.
• Thank you Jesus for going all the way to the finish line for me.
• Help me Lord to do the same for you, to finish my mission on earth fulfilling to completion all that you’ve assigned for me to do.

(FATHER INTO THY HANDS I COMMIT MY SPIRIT)

7ème et dernière Parole de Jésus sur la croix : Père, je remets mon esprit entre tes mains

Lu 23:5 Le soleil s’obscurcit, et le voile du temple se déchira par le milieu. (LSV)

 45 Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two. (NKJV)

 46 Jésus s’écria d’une voix forte: Père, je remets mon esprit entre tes mains. Et, en disant ces paroles, il expira. (LSV)

 46 And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.'” Having said this, He breathed His last. (NKJV)

• To fully understand this last statement of Jesus, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.” You would have to take in consideration many other passages of Scriptures for which our time is limited.
• Jesus voluntarily unclothed himself of His divinity and clothed himself with our humanity in the form of an obedient servant, a sacrificial Lamb.
• In the Garden of Gethsemane He wrestled to yield to the horrific demand of the cross and the atrocities associated.
• Yet as a servant, He said, “Not my will, but your will be done.”
• He is now reaching the edge of the human experience.
• Before hand; before the silver string is snapped, He committed his spirit to God.
• How clever! What a secret we discover out of that.
• We must all do that before we part this life. We must all be certain that our spirits are well secured in the hands of God.
• No one can snatch us out of the hands of the Father.
• Jesus did so because the whole mission of salvation was the plan of the loving Father.
• Long live the Risen king! Long live the Risen king! Long live the Risen king!

AMEN!
