DIEU RÈGNE SUPRÊME SUR SA CREATION EN DEPIT DE TOUT
GOD RULES SUPREMELY OVER HIS CREATION IN SPITE OF ALL
Ge 6:2 les fils de Dieu virent que les filles des hommes étaient belles, et ils en prirent pour femmes parmi toutes celles qu’ils choisirent.
3 ¶ Alors l’Éternel dit: Mon esprit ne restera pas à toujours dans l’homme, car l’homme n’est que chair, et ses jours seront de cent vingt ans.
THE AGE OF DARKNESS
- After the flood of Noah, It seemed as if God had given up on humanity just like he said in Genesis 6:2-3 that His spirit will no longer stay with mankind.
- It seemed as if mankind had reached a point of total depravity as worse as before the flood.
- Humanity had plunged again in total darkness.
- Satan seemed to be winning over God when it came to human being.
- An evil man name Nimrod erupted in history. Many believe that Nimrod was a semi God, as if these foreign spirits had made a return to earth.
- Many believe that many flown away from earth to avoid the flood.
- During that period, devil worship and the atrocities associated were winning the day, from that same époque came the worship of the queen of heaven and a host of other mystics.
- The next daring project was the building of the Tower of Babel that was going to symbolize the pride of man and the means to outlive another flood should God try to destroy them a second time.
- God came and visited the project and confounded their languages to put a stop to the project.
- The birth of many nations will be occasioned by the language barrier but the heart of man was already spoiled.
- Each group went their separate ways but their hearth was already sold out to idolatry.
- God kept silence as if He was dead and Satan took total control over the earth.
- Great civilizations came to existence in that period.
- Egypt was far advanced in magic and astronomy and all the sciences of that time.
- By looking at some of the drawings dated from that time, it seems evident that demons lived openly in plain sites, side by side with human beings.
GOD’S REEMERGENCE ON THE SCENE OF HUMAN HISTORY
- When the time came to its fullness, God stepped in human history again.
- God chose one man called Abram whose father was an idolater, and promised to make a nation out of him.
- After the children of Israel spent 400 years in Egypt, God the Commander who had never lost control stepped on the scene.
- That’s when people found out that there was a greater than all the gods of Egypt.
- That’s when Pharaoh found out that he was not god but a mere human.
- That’s when the great magicians of Egypt found out about the true God of the universe.
- That’s when the superiority of God’s power was exhibited for all to see.
- God brought Egypt down on its knees with the ten plagues and squeezed the Children of Israel out of its grips.
- Although God made a nation out of the children of Jacob, the devil continued to lord over the earth.
THE ETERNAL SON OF GOD STEPPED IN HISTORY TO DESTROY THE WORKS OF THE DEVIL
- One dreadful day in history for Satan, Jesus the Son of God, the Shiloh, The Germ of God, the Bright Morning Star showed up on earth.
- Every since Jesus’ birth, it’s been total chaos for the devil.
- No longer can he proclaim himself lord.
- No longer does he have the final say in the matters of mankind
- Everywhere Jesus went, he would cast demons out of people.
- They flee from him
- They asked for mercy
- They begged to be cast out to the swine.
- Not only Jesus, but His followers were given authority to cast out demons in the name of Jesus.
- Since the birth of the church, Satan continues to use one scheme after another in aim to weaken the church.
- Now that he can no longer lord the earth as in the old times because of the presence of the Christians, he launches his attacks against the church in the spirit realm.
THE FOLLOWERS OF CHRIST ARE AUTOMATICALLY ENGAGED IN THE BATTLE FOR DOMINION
In Ephesians 6 :10-12 Paul warns the Christians to maintain the readiness for combat.
- Paul tells us in details where the attacks would be coming from and the complexity of the warfare.
Eph 6:10 ¶ Au reste, fortifiez-vous dans le Seigneur, et par sa force toute-puissante.
11 Revêtez-vous de toutes les armes de Dieu, afin de pouvoir tenir ferme contre les ruses du diable.
12 Car nous n’avons pas à lutter contre la chair et le sang, mais contre les dominations, contre les autorités, contre les princes de ce monde de ténèbres, contre les esprits méchants dans les lieux célestes.
Eph 6:10 ¶ Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
THE PREPARATION PROCESS
- First, we need to strengthen ourselves in the Lord.
- Get strong in God before engaging in the battle.
- Make sure your prayer life is good.
- Make sure that you get saturated with the Word of God.
- Make sure your relationships with others are good
- Make sure to walk in holiness
- Make sure that you are full of Agape love.
- Make you that your adoration and worship of God are strong.
- Make sure that your meditation of the Word of God is strong.
- Make sure to have a great dose of faith in God.
- Make sure to cast all doubts away.
THE AMMUNITION PROCESS
- Put the right armor on, not your armor but God’s armor
- Put on the whole armor of God, not partial of God’s armor
- The devil can only be countered by God’s whole armor.
- All human armor will surely fail because Satan is much more powerful and much more intelligent than us.
- The wiles of the devil cannot be detected by human’s radars or wisdom.
- God’s armor are invincible and indestructible
- No weapon can penetrate the shields of God, and no one can resist or survive God’s artilleries
- The first benefit of God’s armor is the ability to stand and to resist the devil at all fronts.
THE ENEMY IDENTIFIED
- When two countries are in war, one always needs to know the types of forces the opponent processes.
- Be it navy
- Air force
- Nuclear ability
- Technology
- Spy activities
- Seals
- Special forces
- Submarine activities
- Size of the military forces
- Level of training
- Friends and enemies, etc.
- Christians wrestle not against flesh and blood
- Christians wrestle against powerful invisible entities.
- Principalities,
- Powers,
- Rulers of the darkness of this age,
- Spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
- Had God not been on our sides, we Christians would be in clear disadvantage in this warfare.
- They can see you, but you cannot see them
- They are well trained, and you are novice and naïve
- They are well organized, and we are disbanded loners
- They are in constant communication and coordination with one another, and we are in competition with one another.
- They are united in purpose and goal, and we are often confused.
- They are in their domains, and we are strangers on the earth.
- They are in many categories, and we are all of one brand.
- Added to their forces, they can manipulate people and objects around you to carry out their mission against you.
- They can attack from many terrains, and you are stuck on earth.
THE BALANCE
- GOD IS INVINCIBLE
- CHRISTIANS ARE GOD’S PROPERTIES
- CHRISTIANS ARE ENGAGED IN GOD’S BATTLE
- CHRISTIANS ARE STRENGTHENED IN GOD
- CHRISTIANS HAVE THE ADVANTAGE PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
- CHRISTIANS ARE UNDEFEATED BECAUSE CHRIST WHO IS OUR CAPTAIN IS INFINITELY ABOVE THE DEVIL
Mt 28:18 Jésus, s’étant approché, leur parla ainsi: Tout pouvoir m’a été donné dans le ciel et sur la terre. (LSV)
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. (NKJV)
Ac 2:36 Que toute la maison d’Israël sache donc avec certitude que Dieu a fait Seigneur et Christ ce Jésus que vous avez crucifié.
JESUS RULES ABOVE OVER THE WHOLE CREATION
Ephesians 1:16-23
- Eph 1:16 je ne cesse de rendre grâces pour vous, faisant mention de vous dans mes prières,
17 afin que le Dieu de notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ, le Père de gloire, vous donne un esprit de sagesse et de révélation, dans sa connaissance,
18 et qu’il illumine les yeux de votre coeur, pour que vous sachiez quelle est l’espérance qui s’attache à son appel, quelle est la richesse de la gloire de son héritage qu’il réserve aux saints,
19 et quelle est envers nous qui croyons l’infinie grandeur de sa puissance, se manifestant avec efficacité par la vertu de sa force.
20 Il l’a déployée en Christ, en le ressuscitant des morts, et en le faisant asseoir à sa droite dans les lieux célestes,
21 au-dessus de toute domination, de toute autorité, de toute puissance, de toute dignité, et de tout nom qui se peut nommer, non seulement dans le siècle présent, mais encore dans le siècle à venir.
22 Il a tout mis sous ses pieds, et il l’a donné pour chef suprême à l’Église,
23 qui est son corps, la plénitude de celui qui remplit tout en tous.
Eph 1:16 do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
20 which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,
21 far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come.
22 And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church,
23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
JESUS IS THE CREATOR OF ALL POWERS: VISIBLES AND INVISIBLES
Col 1:16 Car en lui ont été créées toutes les choses qui sont dans les cieux et sur la terre, les visibles et les invisibles, trônes, dignités, dominations, autorités. Tout a été créé par lui et pour lui. (LSV)
16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. (NKJV)
JESUS IS THE HEAD OVER ALL PRICIPALITIES AND POWER
- Colossians 2:9-10
- Col 2:9 Car en lui habite corporellement toute la plénitude de la divinité.
10 Vous avez tout pleinement en lui, qui est le chef de toute domination et de toute autorité.
Col 2:9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;
10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
JESUS HAS DEFEATED ALL PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS ON THE CROSS
Col 2:15 il a dépouillé les dominations et les autorités, et les a livrées publiquement en spectacle, en triomphant d’elles par la croix. (LSV)
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it. (NKJV)
JESUS WILL BRING AN END TO ALL CONTRARY AUTHORITIES AND POWERS
1Co 15:24 Ensuite viendra la fin, quand il remettra le royaume à celui qui est Dieu et Père, après avoir détruit toute domination, toute autorité et toute puissance.
25 Car il faut qu’il règne jusqu’à ce qu’il ait mis tous les ennemis sous ses pieds.
26 Le dernier ennemi qui sera détruit, c’est la mort.
1Co 15:24 Then comes the end, when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to all rule and all authority and power.
25 For He must reign till He has put all enemies under His feet.
26 The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
- DIEU RÈGNE SUPRÊME SUR SA CREATION EN DEPIT DE TOUT !
- GOD RULES SUPREMELY OVER HIS CREATION IN SPITE OF ALL!

13 C’est pourquoi, prenez toutes les armes de Dieu, afin de pouvoir résister dans le mauvais jour, et tenir ferme après avoir tout surmonté.
14 Tenez donc ferme: ayez à vos reins la vérité pour ceinture; revêtez la cuirasse de la justice;
15 mettez pour chaussure à vos pieds le zèle que donne l’Évangile de paix;
16 prenez par-dessus tout cela le bouclier de la foi, avec lequel vous pourrez éteindre tous les traits enflammés du malin;
17 prenez aussi le casque du salut, et l’épée de l’Esprit, qui est la parole de Dieu.
18 Faites en tout temps par l’Esprit toutes sortes de prières et de supplications. Veillez à cela avec une entière persévérance, et priez pour tous les saints.
