L’ÉTERNEL, LE SEIGNEUR PEUT NOUS GARANTIR DE LA MORT
TO GOD THE LORD BELONG ESCAPES FROM DEATH
Psaume (68:21) Dieu est pour nous le Dieu des délivrances, Et l’Éternel, le Seigneur, peut nous garantir de la mort. (LSV) Psalm 68: 20 Our God is the God of salvation; And to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death. (NKJV)
· ALL THE FOUNDATIONS IN THE WORLD ARE PUT TO TEST IN TIMES OF CRISIS
o WORLD HEALTH SYSTEMS
o FEDERAL HEALTH SYSTEM
o STATE HEALTH SYSTEM
o LEADERSHIP OF ELECTED OFFICIALS
o THE FINANCIAL SYSTEMS OF THE WORLD
o The ultimate resilience of mankind
o Man’s goodwill
· CRISIS CAUSES EVERYONE TO REEVALUATE THE MEANING OF ESSENTIAL
o What is one’s order of importance?
· ONE’S FAITH IS PUT TO TEST IN CRISIS
o Many are in the process of shifting their faith.
o If your sense of security came from other than God, you might already be disappointed in the present crisis.
o The best systems in the world are found to be unprepared for a crisis of this magnitude, yet there might be more in line.
· IS OUR FAITH IN GOD GOING TO FAIL US AS WELL?
o The prayers of all the children can be echoed like this, “Please Lord, protect my family from this pandemic.”
o I hear Psalm 91 being quoted extensively these days
Ps 91:1 ¶ Celui qui demeure sous l’abri du Très-Haut Repose à l’ombre du Tout Puissant. (LSV)
1 ¶ He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (NKJV)
2 Je dis à l’Éternel: Mon refuge et ma forteresse, Mon Dieu en qui je me confie! (LSV)
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.” (NKJV)
3 Car c’est lui qui te délivre du filet de l’oiseleur, De la peste et de ses ravages. (LSV)
3 Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. (NKJV)
4 Il te couvrira de ses plumes, Et tu trouveras un refuge sous ses ailes; Sa fidélité est un bouclier et une cuirasse. (LSV)
4 He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. (NKJV)
5 Tu ne craindras ni les terreurs de la nuit, Ni la flèche qui vole de jour, (LSV)
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, (NKJV)
6 Ni la peste qui marche dans les ténèbres, Ni la contagion qui frappe en plein midi. (LSV)
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. (NKJV)
7 Que mille tombent à ton côté, Et dix mille à ta droite, Tu ne seras pas atteint; (LSV)
7 A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you. (NKJV)
o The verse of today also assures us that God can protect us.

Ps 23:4 Quand je marche dans la vallée de l’ombre de la mort, Je ne crains aucun mal, car tu es avec moi: Ta houlette et ton bâton me rassurent. (LSV)
Ps 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. (NKJV)
THE FEAR ASSOCIATED TO PANDEMIC COVID-19 IS MORE POTENT THAN THE VIRUS ITSELF
o All are wise and prudent to follow all the guidelines forwarded by the officials
o No one should take this deadly virus lightly .
HOW IS A CHRISTIAN TO BALANCE BETWEEN CONCERN AND FEAR AND HOW DO WE SEPARATE THE TWO?
o Death is inevitable
o Fear of death is not for the children of God
o Genuine Christians have no doubt about their eternity.
o Christians believe that God sovereign above all things
o Christians believe that God can cure any disease at any stage
o Christians believe that God can bring back to live even a dead person.
WILL ALL GENIUNE CHRISTIANS BE SPARED OF THE PANDEMIC? NO
WILL GOD CURE ALL TRUE CHRISTIANS FROM THE DISEASE? NO
o Christians seek for the perfect will of God for their lives
1Th 5:9-11 Car Dieu ne nous a pas destinés à la colère, mais à l’acquisition du salut par notre Seigneur Jésus-Christ,
10 qui est mort pour nous, afin que, soit que nous veillions, soit que nous dormions, nous vivions ensemble avec lui.
11 ¶ C’est pourquoi exhortez-vous réciproquement, et édifiez-vous les uns les autres, comme en réalité vous le faites.
1Th 5:9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,
10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
11 ¶ Therefore comfort each other and edify one another, just as you also are doing.
o The companions of Daniel and Daniel himself were no strangers to the valley of death
o God miraculously spared Peter from death once and still allowed him to die a horrific death later.
o Paul was spared several times from death yet was allowed to die as a martyr for the cause of Christ.
GOD HAS FULL CONTROL OVER MY LIFE
GOD HAS APPOINTED MY BIRTHDAY AND THE DAY OF MY DEATH
GOD HAS CONDITIONED THE CIRCUMSTANCES OF MY ENTRANCE IN THIS WORLD AND GOD HAS ALSO APPOINTED THE DETAILS OF MY DEPARTURE.
I PRAY MY WISHES TO GOD, BUT GOD RESERVE THE RIGHT TO EXIT ME ACCORDING TO HIS WILL.
I WILL NOT DIE A DAY SOONER THAN THE DATE SET BY GOD.
CORONAVIRUS OR ANY OTHER SICKNESS TO COME IS NO MATCH TO MY GOD. AMEN!!!
